As Chairman/CEO of FTN Equity Capital Markets (formerly Midwest Research) grew FTN EMC from $15mm in revenue in 2000 to almost $70mm within 5 years. FTN/Midwest was acknowledged repeatedly as one of the “Best of the Street” by the Wall Street Journal, “Best of the Research Boutiques” by Institutional Investor Magazine, and highly ranked by both StarMine and Integrity Research. FTN/Midwest was a core research provider for over 1000 of the largest institutional investors both in the United States and internationally. Mr. Bischoff’s responsibilities included equity capital markets origination and direct management of the heads of research, sales, trading and sales trading. His previous experience included a position as Sr. Managing Director and Head of Institutional Equity Sales for all U.S. products at ABN AMRO where he had multiple offices in the United States and London. During his tenure at ABN AMRO he helped grow revenues from under $10mm to $100mm in under five years. At ABN AMRO he was also Co-Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee and a member of the Investment Banking Commitment Committee. Registrations include Series 7, 8, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65. Bischoff is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.
